From Video Calls to a First In-Person Meeting

Meeting in person can be exciting, especially after weeks or months of meaningful conversation. It is also a new stage—not proof that every online impression is accurate. A good plan protects both people’s independence and creates enough calm to learn how the connection feels offline.

Verify before anyone books a trip

Choose a public, populated location

Select a daytime café, museum, or busy public attraction with staff and easy transportation.
